Their are several differences in our wings.
1. Our wings were not designed for Belly Dancing, which is a dance of seduction and made for that purpose. We have been in prayer for over a year so that our Lord Jesus would guide us in making these wings because we were not sure if it was appropriate because of the history of the wings. They are called Isis Wings after the Goddess of Passion and Lust in ancient times.
2. If you compare their wing with ours, ours has an Eagle shape Wing (which was inspires by our Lord Jesus). When we cut the wings we never imagined it will turn out this way (we know there was Devine intervention). Not only do they look different they even flow completely different.
3. Some of the wing you purchase are made in either Egyptian or Chinese fabric, which are made for secular use not to Praise & Worship. They are businesses with another purpose.
4. The reason our wing are more expensive is because of the pleating. To make the pleating it is time consuming and expensive here in the states, there are only two pleaters that we are aware of in the US who still do this. The fabric we use is also a bit expensive since it is Japanese Tissue Lame (much softer what you can get in a fabric store.
